Alzheimer's disease is the largest underfunded public health threat currently facing our nation. It is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States and the only cause of death among the top 10 in the United States that cannot be prevented, cured, or even slowed. The Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest even to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities worldwide, this inspiring event call on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions.
Here are a couple of pictures from Beacon Home Care's participation in the October 18th Petaluma walk located at Shollenberger Park. If you'd like to join us next year, please contact any of our offices-- we'd certainly be thrilled to have you and you're loved ones!
